Alchemy and Exile

The sun set,
From henceforth, I beget
All the lust and Courage
Liquid
I Find myself
Remiss.
Is all this, that is?

What you can't see
Won't get you in trouble
Feeling my way
In a deep dark bubble,
Desperation wealth
Black holed drowned,
Uncanny Stealth.
Pretentiously Profound.

Driven out, Miles away
Trying desperately
To find my way,
At this point,
My only hope
Turn metal to gold
light it up,
smoke that dope.

I've been here before,
Under these stars
I've wondered these hills,
been surfing on Mars
Every time I try to make it back,
I get stuck
in the crack

of Lack.

Surviving The Reign

Ofttimes we just need, someone averring;
“It’s okay to feel that way, I understand you’re fearing”
Like a hallowed hole
In your ozone layer,
Piercing your soul,
Like a dragon slayer.

Now I contemplate, imagine
What might be, If loss
Wasn’t real or unfathomed.
A distorted reality, someone else’ lives
Another planet;
Everyone survives.

But really, what gives
Oh, This physical sieve
Where our spirit morphs,
In this continuum, we live.

Purple pills to ease the pain,
Gross intoxicants, polluting your reign.
Dragging crutches, chairs that are wheeled
All those pain meds - from vigor they
Steal.
It is US who is sick
Laid up in our Beds,
Grief stricken long faces,
Awaiting our death.

If we could see now,
Them dancing in bliss,
Surrounded by love
No longer remiss.
Like lawyers in, the upper worlds
Adjudicating our actions, as they unfurl
Praying for success, unconditional love
As we stumble and fumble in this grey dark world.

Transform our pain,
Into celebration,
Wish them well,
Their next incarnation.
No matter the hurt
Or burden we feel,
We’re new again,
Because they were real.

CHANGE, THE SAME

Pry
Open my eyes that insist,
Pain
Why
Ask questions? answers
Same.
Shy,
Nerves shot, cellular screen
Blamed.
Cry,
Am I who doesn't dream
Named?
Sty
Twitching. Sewing torn up
Fame
Eyes
Watching, destiny deemed
Tamed
Fried.
