Come What May

Time to take my own advice,
The making excuses, swatting at flies.
Speedy recovery, from the wounded soul
get up, start over
pick up the pieces to the whole.

From all our ashes, a phoenix will rise
irregardless, how great our demise
We'll all be free one day,
to rock the Kasbah -
Dance, Sing & Play
In the penthouse at the Plaza!

Tom Ford tux for no rational,
Lunch everyday, at the National.
Pixie Dust and cotton candy clouds,
Children run wild, utterly wowed.

You'll feel it - that Love for no reason,
irrelevant our mood, or Winter season.
To our soul, we'll stay glued
instead of thinking,
"God, I'm Screwed"!

But first,
the work must begin.
Saw out the rib,
that original sin.

From back to back
to face to face,
blind faith
and to do so, with grace.

The trumpet will sound,  the vessel will shatter
The day is approaching, above physical matter.

The prolonged neglect of, "come what may"
the waiting and waiting for "That Special Day"
Above time, above space
It's all here and now,
So to it,
Through the illusions we shall plow.

For now, the work commences
dig deeper and deeper,
amend your offenses.

Forgive others,
forgive yourself
Don't rest on your laurels
or get caught up in your wealth.

Wipe the slate clean, check the gate
Edit the movie, set the record straight.
Who you are, is who you are meant to become
It's up to you, to join forces with
The One.
